Overview:
Morkin & Sowards is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to become an integral part of our team. Successful applicants will have a proven track record as an administrative assistant/receptionist within the construction industry.
Responsibilities:
- greeting visitors in the office with a friendly, professional attitude
- answering phone calls, take messages, and transfer calls to appropriate personnel
- making copies and blueprints
- managing file system and carry out data entry
- assisting with preparation of documents, estimate letters, reports and presentations
- attending meetings to assist in taking notes
- assisting office manager with general office tasks
- maintaining confidentiality of company information
Qualifications:
- minimum 2 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant/Receptionist
- business-related associates degree is preferred
- proficient in data entry and file management software including Microsoft Office Suite
- excellent written, verbal and digital communication skills
- excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality
- ability to produce professional corporate documents
- self-motivated and results-driven
- able to work independently with minimal supervision
- understanding of the construction industry is a plus
- dependable with the ability to adhere to the highest standards of ethics, integrity, and professionalism
