Description
Morkin & Sowards is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to become an integral part of our team. Successful applicants will have a proven track record as an Administrative Assistant/Receptionist within the construction industry.
- Greet visitors in the office with a friendly, professional attitude.
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and transfer calls to appropriate personnel.
- Make copies and blueprints.
- Manage file system and carry out data entry.
- Assist with preparation of documents, estimate letters, reports and presentations.
- Attend meetings to assist in taking notes.
- Assist office manager with general office tasks.
- Maintain confidentiality of company information.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant/Receptionist.
- Business-related associates degree is preferred.
- Proficient in data entry and file management software including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent written, verbal and digital communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality.
- Ability to produce professional corporate documents.
- Self-motivated and results-driven.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Understanding of the construction industry is a plus.
- Dependable with the ability to adhere to the highest standards of ethics, integrity, and professionalism.
